 Egyptian Association’s for Community Participation Enhancement third report on monitoring the second electoral day on the second round of parliamentary elections

The observers of the Egyptian Association for Community Participation Enhancement spotted several irregularities that marred the election process until 7pm, it is represented in the following:

Cairo governorate:

The observers of the association spotted the supporters of the candidates (H.F), (A.M) and (A.L) pay L.E250 for the vote; they are also transporting groups of voters. In Al-Zaitoun constituency, the vote’s price reached L.E700.

In Bolaq Abou El-Ela constituency, the supporters of the candidates (Kh.A) and (M.M) pay L.E100 for the vote.

In Mysara prep school, Matareya constituency, the supporters of the candidate (A.A) had written their candidate’s name, number and slogan with paint on the school’s walls.

In Martyr Mohamed Farid Sarhan School, Helwan constituency, the supporters of the candidate (N.A) are campaigning around the school and transporting groups of voters to the polling stations.

In Naguib Mahfouz School, Al-Zawaeya Al-Hamraa, a fighting happened between the supporters of the independent candidate (Kh.A) and the supporters of the independent candidate (M.A) because of directing the voters which caused injuries and the security forces controlled over it.

In Bolaq Abou El-Ela constituency, the supporters of the candidates (Kh.A) and (M.M) pay L.E100.

North Sinia governorate:

The observers of the association spotted that there were skirmishes between the candidates’ representatives in front of Abou-sakl, the representatives of the candidate (H.N) have been arrested and referred to Awal Al-Arish police station as they were paying bribes to the voters.

Sharqeya governorate:

The supporters of Al-masryeen Al-Ahrar party’s candidates (M.D) and (A.A) pay L.E200 for the vote.

Dakahlia governorate:

The observers of the association spotted Al-Nour party’s candidate (G.A) tried to enter 15 representatives the polling station, but he was arrested in Nabroh polling station. In Aga constituency, the supporters of the candidate (M.Y) pay L.E200 for the vote, and the supporters of the candidate (M.Sh) pay L.E100 for the vote as well as they are distributing meals to the voters.

Menoufia governorate:

The observers of the association spotted the supporters of “Fe Hob Misr” list’s candidate (S.A) are transporting the voters from their houses by buses, one of the buses number is 53821Menoufia. In Menouf constituency, the supporters of “Fe Hob Misr” list’s candidate (A.A) are roaming the city with speakers calling on people to vote.

Ismailia governorate:

The observers of the association spotted the supporters of the candidate (M.A) pay L.E200-500 and a blanket for the vote to direct the voters to vote in favor of this candidate in the first constituency. In the same constituency, the supporters of the candidate (A.A) pay L.E200-300 to the voters to direct them to vote for their candidate.

In the fourth constituency, the independent candidate (M.A) pays L.E700 for the vote, as well as he rented cars to transport the voters to the polling stations. In Al-Baawla constituency, “Mostaqbal Watan” list’s candidate (A.B) is gathering the voters throughout his representatives who knock the doors of the houses and propose money to the voters to direct them to vote.
