Giza Governorate:

  • “El-Nile” Elementary School, Waraa’, Clashes between pro and anti constitution voters, and assaults on a reporter for “Al-Badeel” Journal.
  • “Al-Shorouk” School, Waraa’, A voter was caught was a ballot paper pre-marked with “Yes”, a report was filed with the incident.

The Independent Coalition for Monitoring the Referendum announces that he refuses the procedures established by the National Council for Human Rights in issuing the observers’ permit, where the Coalition was able to discover permits with no names or ID numbers issued to some parties.

The second phase of the constitutional referendum is taking place at the following governorates: Giza – Qalyubeya – Al-Minya – Al-Fayum – Beni Swif – Qena – Luxor – Behera – Dumyat -  Kafr Al-Shiekh – Al-Munufeya – Ismailia – Port Said – Suez – Red Sea – Marsa Matruh – Al-Wadi Al-Gedid. The number of citizens eligible to vote equals 25 million 495 thousand, number of polling station equals 6724, number of general committees 176, and is supervised by 6900 judge. The independent coalition is monitoring the referendum with 4197 observer in 15 governorates.
